welcome emmeline :: portland family portraits
In late December, Betsy, Karl, and Jack welcomed sweet Emmeline into their world, and a few weeks ago they invited me over to do my thing. It was one of our rain-logged January days so we kept the kids indoors. Jack patted Emmeline's back when she fussed, he held her proudly on his lap, he showed me his trains and diggers, and we sang Kimya Dawson songs (I think he was impressed, in that three-year-old way, that I knew all the lyrics to Alphabutt).
