the carlsons of cannon beach

Sometimes a family in Denver buys a house in Cannon Beach and decides they want to hire a photographer to capture their beachy summer selves. And sometimes they get on Pinterest and search "Cannon Beach family photos" and come across MY photos. And sometimes they tell their cousin in Portland that they're going to work with me and the cousin exclaims "EVERYONE in Portland wants to work with Posy!" And sometimes they tell me that in the kitchen of their gorgeous beach house, and I blush and gush and internally freak out (what if I don't live up to this ridiculous rumor!). And sometimes the sun shines brighter than it has EVER shined at Cannon Beach and we make the most of it and have a silly good time and capture a little gem or two here and there, because just look at this family and this beach, that's a combination that would be really hard to screw up. And I am SO grateful I didn't! Phew.
