Meet Ava and Anden.
Ava is exceptionally shy, I was warned. My goal was to capture one-year-old photos of Anden, the "social lovey teddy bear," and hopefully get a few of Ava too, if she warmed up to me. Um, she warmed up. She stole the show. Heck, she stole my heart. And yes I do know how cheesy that sounds, but it is true.
Hello February sunshine, I think I love you.
Lucynda's love for her children may not be any stronger than any other parent - we all love them more than we know what to do with - but this mama's love for her kiddos, it shines brighter than the sun did that day. Too cheesy again? I don't care, I am feeling it today. How could I not with this family? I saw the love radiating among all of them that day, and I see it in these photos. I am so thrilled I was able to capture it for them.
Ava's hair has never been cut. Mama says she'll cry the day she cuts it. I understand.
