butterfly beach (and a little trespassing)

Seeing as how I just shot the newborn session of the little nugget who appears in utero in this session, I figured I ought to share some of these first. I felt pretty dang lucky when I found out that these fabulous clients of mine were going to be visiting family in Santa Barbara at the same time I was there in June. So excited I forgot to check tide schedules when selecting the time of our session; we just about ran out of beach space and had to seek refuge on the property of a pretty fancy hotel across the street. We pretended we belonged there and nobody was the wiser. I love where I live, and all the fabulous people here, but it sure was fun playing in California over the summer. I can't wait to see what 2016 brings me (hint hint: I'll be announcing travel sessions soon!)...
